Cryolophosaurus with Feathers

Cryolophosaurus was a Theropod (meat-eating carnivore) of the Early Jurassic Period that lived in Antarctica.  Antarctica was not as far south back then so it was warmer than it is now. In fact, in the early Jurassic Period Antarctica was a temperate climate with vegetation and no deep ice layers or glaciers covered the land.  In fact, the whole Earth was warmer then and there were no polar ice caps.  

However, since it was still the furthest south land on Earth it had long months of no light in the winter and it seems probable that there was snow and cold temperatures during those months.  So, since some scientists think that many if not most later Theropods eventually evolved feathers. . . I thought that perhaps Cryolophosaurus may have had feathers to keep warm in the winters.  Millions of years later Troodons in the Northern latitudes were some of those dinosaur that DID have feathers... in part to keep warm in the cold.  

Cryolophosaurus had a unique crest that was solid bone.  It was a large early Theropod that lived in the Early Jurassic. Cryolophosaurus was around 10 feet tall, 26 feet long, and weighed 1,100 lbs.  In metrics, those measurements are:  9 meters tall, 8 meters long, and weighed or massed at about 500 kg.
