Water Fairies coloring pages

This is a free Coloring pages blog.
Today's new drawing is a Norwegian Pond Fairy

Norwegian Pond Fairy
(new drawing today)

There are lots of Water Fairies.  Some live IN the water, but most just like living near water. They are divided up into groups, based on where they live or what types of bodies of water they prefer.  So, there are several types of Water Fairies.  They are River Fairies, Lake Fairies, Ocean or Sea or Beach Fairies, and Stream Fairies.  Some Pond Fairies prefer to be called Wetland Fairies.  I should mention that there are also Water Dragon Fairies that care for Water Dragon eggs.

Today's drawing is a Pond Fairy.  She is from Norway so the title of the drawing is "Norwegian Pond Fairy."  She is kneeling on a lily pad that is floating in a beautiful pond that is located at Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve in Norway.

Pond Fairies take care of small bodies of water called ponds.  They also are the Wetland Fairies that care for wetlands.  So, in Florida, the Pond Fairies are sometimes known as Everglade Fairies.

Some Water Fairies prefer clothing made out of plants... like leaves.  Other Water Fairies prefer to wear more cloth-like clothing.

Below are some older drawings of different types of Water Fairies.  All these drawings, in printable form, are found by clicking on the category button labeled:  "Fantasy, Myths, and Circus."

(Some Tree Fairies will love trees from riparian areas...
so they are a type of stream or river Fairy.
"Riparian areas" are places near rivers or streams.
Trees that love riparian areas include, Cottonwoods, Willows, and Box Elder trees.)
