Serenity the Fairy Princess on a Unicorn
(New Drawing)

Serenity is a young Fairy Princess.  She is only in her mid teens.  She loves her Unicorn Friend.  No one, who is a good being, actually owns a Unicorn.  Unicorns are sentient beings, like humans, elves, and Fairies.  Owning a Unicorn would be practicing slavery.

In this first drawing we see Serenity taking a ride on her Unicorn friend by a forest river.  Some winters her friend the Unicorn will come to stay in the Fairy Village where Serenity lives.  Her village is a miniature village under a tree in the forest.

In order for the Unicorns to visit and stay in a Fairy Village they must have the assistance of Fairy Magic.  Unicorns have their own Magic  but Fairy Magic and technology allows the Fairies to miniaturize any welcome visitor.  Fairy villages are well lit with full spectrum light and even though they are underground, their villages are full of fresh air and peaceful dwellings that are primarily in miniaturized trees.  Think of how Bonzia trees are mini versions of the full sized tree.  The Fairies build tree houses in these miniaturized trees.

This Unicorn is named Analia.  Analia would only let a dear friend ride on her back.  Serenity and Anilia are taking a leisurely ride, but with a purpose.  They enjoy their time together, but even as a young princess, Princess Serenity has responsibilities to help monitor and guard the forest.   Notice that she has her wand in her right hand and the wand is at the ready.  If a mortal came upon her and was a ne're do well she would probably fry part of the mortal's memory with an Obivisclatur charm.  The Fairy performing the charm can decide how much of the memories of the mortal needs to be removed.  If the mortal was absolutely evil and meant to do harm to the Fairy then the Fairy is authorized to erase much of the evil person's memory.

On a happier note, there are some mortals who have become friendly with Fairies.  In fact, being Fairykind means being a Fairy or being a Mortal with a special relationship with one or more Fairies.  Some mortals even have married Fairies.

This next drawing is of a little girl Fairy on a Unicorn.  She is an Aussie Fairy named Kaitlynn.
She is quite young, so she is on a smaller type of  Unicorn.  So, did you know that there are Pony Unicorns?  Well, there are.  So this is a drawing of a little girl Australian Fairy riding a Unicorn Pony.

Fairy Kaitlynn riding a Pony Unicorn
(New Drawing)

This Fairy has what might be called Mayfly Wings.   She is under 12 years old and so she is limited to riding smaller Unicorns, hence she is on a Pony Unicorn or Unicorn Pony.  Pony Unicorns are still Unicorns, they just are smaller and are quite similar to a Shetland Pony in appearance... except for the horn.

In spite of what you may know about traditional Unicorns having a billy-goat's beard, cloven hooves, and a lion's tail.. . . . . .  in actuality, other than the horn, Unicorns resemble a very beautiful horse. The obvious difference is that Unicorns have a horn.  Of course the Unicorns use their magic to conceal their horn from most mortals.

So you have probably seen a Unicorn or two if you have seen Mustangs in North America or Brumbies in Australia, but you did no KNOW that you had seen a Unicorn.  Some Unicorns run with herds of Mustangs or Brumbies.  In fact, Kaitlynn's friend Kalina, the Pony Unicorn in the drawing, likes to run with a local herd of Brumbies in the Australian Outback.  Often the leader of the herd of wild horses is a Unicorn.  Sometimes the Unicorn takes second in command so they don't have so much responsibility.  For a Unicorn, running with mustangs or brumbies is often considered a vacation.

In this drawing Kaitlynn and Kalina are on patrol near the Victorian Alps in New South Wales.
