Enos Prays All Day and Into The Night

Enos Prays All Day and into the Night

Enos was a son of a prophet.  His father was Jacob.  Enos was probably a luke warm believer.  He had listened to his father's preaching but he was not really strong believer.  He grew up and became a hunter.  This was somewhere in North or South America.  He was out hunting one day and he began to think about what his father had taught about the "joy of the saints."  Then he finally decided to do something about it.  He keeled down and prayed to Heavenly Father to find out if God is real.   He was blessed with the Spirit of God telling him that his sins were forgiven him because of his faith in Christ.  Then Enos prayed for his people.  Then he prayed for his people's enemies.  Each time he was told basically that people will be blessed according to how well they keep the commandments of God.  This story is found in The Book Of Mormon, Another Witness For Christ.

This drawing, in printable form, is found by clicking on one of two buttons up top. . . . . . . .

English readers... I also posted this in several other languages.  This is a reposting.  I post it once in English and then in several languages and then I reposted it in English.

Final note.... For you fans of the Book of Mormon, this drawing is based on the rather new idea that perhaps the Nephites lived in what is now the Mississippi Valley area of Eastern North America, and the regions round about.  Enos is drawn dressed as a Mississippian hunter would look.  The Mississippian culture are also called the Mound Builders.
