Boreal Forest Fairy training a Baby Dragon

Boreal Forest Fairy training a Baby Dragon

Boreal Forest Fairies are usually great Dragon Trainers.  This Dragon Trainer Fairy is a little worried about the rambunctious Baby Dragon she is trying to train.  To avoid the risk of a Dragon caused forest fire the training takes place up at high altitude.  Also, you will notice that the Fairy is wearing her flying belt.  This gives her the ability to fly at higher speeds, for longer lengths of time, and at a higher altitude.

This is a Russian Fairy who lives in the Siberian Boreal Forest.  Boreal forests are cold or at least cool year round.  The Boreal Forest Fairies, like this one, use a magical warming charm to keep warm.  So even though she is in bare feet, wears no coat, and she is flying at altitude, she is not freezing cold.  Some Boreal Forest Fairies DO choose to wear warm clothing and then they do not need to use as much of their magical energy to keep warm.

I finally felt up to drawing again today... I had surgery on Tuesday and today is Thursday.
I chose to only use pencil on this drawing so the lines do not look as clear as my coloring page drawings that are inked in along the lines.  Also, can you tell which direction the light is coming from?

Notice that the trees do not look all alike.  One of the things my art teacher says is "Repetition with Variation!"  So in nature things look similar but not identical.  You could think of genetics as part of nature.  So the traits we see in living things are similar but not usually exactly alike.  No two leaves are the same.  No two people have exactly the same features...other than identical twins.  Even among identical twins the twins stll have some differences.

This drawing is fnound, in printable form, by clicking on one of two buttons up top and scrolling down the menu to the bottom of the list.  New drawings are found at the bottom of the lists.   The buttons to click are "All Printables"   or    "Fantasy,  Myths, and Circus."

Final Note:  Since this IS a Russian Fairy, I  posted this in Russian as well.
