I wrote this song back in 1988 when I first began teaching public school. I was teaching bilingual Kindergarten in Indio, California. This was one of the songs I used to help the kids learn English.
This is a song parody based on the great book: The Country Bunny And The Little Gold Shoes.
A previous post talks all about it and includes more drawings based on the 1939 book.

Sung to the tune of On Top of Old Smokey
A small country bunny
Said I'm going to be
A great Easter Bunny
Just you wait and see
She had 21 Babies
She was wise swift and kind
She was the best bunny
Grandfather could find
He made her a bunny
That brought all the eggs
And gave her some gold shoes
When she hurt her leg
The other Easter Bunnies
Really did not mind
Cause to be an Easter Bunny
You're wise swift and kind
So if you're somebody
Who has a big dream
You may turn out to be
Much more than you seem
